It's been a busy few days for Sporting Kansas City at Children's Mercy Park. After defeating the New England Revolution 3-1 last weekend, Peter Vermes's club lifted its first trophy of the year with a 2-1 victory over the New York Red Bulls on Wednesday in the 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup championship. Now, Sporting KC will turn its attention back to MLS play with a Sunday date against LA Galaxy.
