Sporting Kansas City (2-1-1, 7 points) erased a two-goal deficit to tie the Colorado Rapids 2-2 on Saturday at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado. Midfielder Felipe Gutierrez scored his League-leading fourth goal in the 57th minute before striker Diego Rubio came off the bench to equalize in the 91st minute and keep Sporting KC's hold of first place in the Western Conference. Rubio's strike is nominated for AT&T MLS Goal of the Week with voting open through Thursday morning at 2 a.m. CT.

Manager Peter Vermes' men return to Children's Mercy Park this Saturday, hosting D.C. United (0-2-2, 2 points) in a 7:30 p.m. CT kickoff. FOX Sports Kansas City Plus and FOX Sports Midwest Plus will air three hours of live television coverage at 7 p.m. CT, while ESPN 94.5 FM (English) and ESPN Deportes KC 1480 AM (Spanish) will carry the game over the radio. The Final Whistle Postgame Show will take place immediately after the match on 94.5 FM.

Tickets for Saturday's interconference clash are available via SeatGeek.com, and the first 10,000 fans through the gates will receive an Ike Opara bobblehead courtesy of match sponsor UMKC. Supporters are encouraged to donate new or gently used soccer equipment upon arriving at Children's Mercy Park, with all donors receiving a $10 Sporting Style gift card. Sporting KC will also present its first-ever Craft Beer Tasting Night courtesy of Anheuser-Busch. For $36, fans will receive one South Stand ticket, a wristband for entry into Sporting KC’s tailgate tent, a six-beer flight of Anheuser-Busch’s craft offerings, and a limited-edition 16-oz tasting glass that can be taken into the stadium.

Sporting KC forward Daniel Salloi remains with the Hungary U-21 Men's National Team today for 2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying. Salloi and the U-21s, who defeated Cyprus 4-0 on Friday, travel to face Belgium this afternoon in a 1 p.m. CT kickoff at Den Dreef Stadium in Leuven.

Upon returning to Kansas City, Salloi will appear at No Other Pub (1370 Grand Blvd., Kansas City, Mo.) for the Beat the Pro FIFA Tournament on Wednesday at 6 p.m. CT. In addition to being available for photos and autographs, Salloi will join fans for an EA SPORTS FIFA 18 Tournament involving Alex Betancourt, Sporting KC’s first official eMLS competitor. Betancourt will represent Sporting KC in eMLS, a competitive EA Sports FIFA 18 league that runs from April 5-8 at the PAX East gaming festival inside the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.

A new episode of the Sporting KC Show will air at 7 p.m. CT Tuesday on Sports Radio 810 WHB. Hosts Nate Bukaty and Carter Augustine will welcome Rubio as a guest to recap this weekend's draw in Colorado and look ahead to Saturday's matchup against D.C. United.

The Rangers (2-0-0, 6 points) scored four goals for the second straight game in their home-opening 4-2 win over Seattle Sounders FC 2 on Saturday at Shawnee Mission South District Stadium. Head coach Paulo Nagamura will now lead his team back on the road for Saturday's showdown with USL expansion side Las Vegas Lights FC. Kickoff is set for 10 p.m. CT at Cashman Stadium in Las Vegas, and the contest will stream live on SportingKC.com.

The Sporting KC Academy U-17s are competing in the Championship Division of the 2017-18 Generation adidas Cup, a prestigious youth tournament that concludes Saturday at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas. Led by head coach Rumbani Munthali, the U-17s will close out the group stage against New York City FC today at 2:30 p.m. CT.

Further west, the Sporting KC U-14s and U-15s will compete in the inaugural LA Galaxy Cup this week at Orange County Great Park in Irvine, California. Both sides will play matches on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday with hopes of reaching Sunday's championship games.
