Sporting Kansas City (9-2-5, 32 points) staged a stunning comeback on Saturday to defeat rivals Houston Dynamo 3-2 at Children's Mercy Park, scoring three unanswered goals in the second half to open a three-point lead at the top of the Western Conference standings. Manager Peter Vermes' men will now travel north of the border for a cross-conference clash with the Montreal Impact (6-11-0, 18 points) at Stade Saputo, kicking off at 6 p.m. CT on Saturday. FOX Sports Kansas City, FOX Sports Midwest and FOX Sports GO will air three hours of live coverage beginning at 5:30 p.m. CT, while listeners can catch the action on Sports Radio 810 WHB (English) and ESPN Deportes KC 1480 AM (Spanish). Sports Radio 810 WHB will also air The Final Whistle postgame show immediately after the game.


All supporters are welcome to attend the official watch party for Saturday's match at No Other Pub in the Kansas City Power & Light District. Starting at 5:30 p.m. CT, No Other Pub will offer $4 Bud Light drafts and an all-you-can-eat buffet with bottomless soda and domestic draft beers.


The Swope Park Rangers (8-4-4, 28 points) climbed to fourth place in the USL Western Conference after a thrilling 3-2 victory over expansion side Las Vegas Lights FC on Sunday at Children's Mercy Park. Head coach Paulo Nagamura's team is off this weekend and will return to action on Thursday, July 5, traveling to face Seattle Sounders FC 2 (3-8-2, 11 points) in a match that will stream live on ESPN+.

A new episode of the Sporting KC Show will air at 7 p.m. CT Tuesday on Sports Radio 810 WHB. Hosts Nate Bukaty and Carter Augustine will recap Saturday's epic battle between Sporting KC and Houston, preview this weekend's matchup with Montreal and discuss the ongoing 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.


The Sporting KC U-14s have traveled to Westfield, Indiana to compete in the 2018 US Youth Soccer Midwest Regional Championships. The U-14s finished the weekend group stage with three victories and have advanced to the tournament semifinals, where they will face Des Moines Menace Soccer Academy at 9 a.m. CT Tuesday. Should the U-14s prevail, they will advance to Wednesday's championship game at 7 a.m. CT to play for a berth in the 2018 US Youth Soccer National Championships, which run July 23-29 in Frisco, Texas.


Sporting KC is a presenting sponsor of the Sunset Music Fest, which will run from 6-9:30 p.m. CT Thursday at Town Center Plaza in Leawood, Kansas (5000 W. 119th St.). The family-friendly outdoor concert is free of charge, featuring a Sporting KC futsal court, fan giveaways, aerial artists, pace painters, inflatables and more.


Sporting Fields + Athletics is offering free pickup soccer Thursday from 6-8 p.m. CT at Wyandotte Sporting Fields for players age 18 and up. The open summer league will feature 5-v-5 games on five separate Thursdays throughout June and July, taking place on Field 6 at Wyandotte Sporting Fields (1500 N. 19th St., Kansas City, KS). For more information, visit SportingAthletics.com.


From 5-7 p.m. CT on Friday, Sporting KC fans of all ages are welcome to attend the next stop of the 2018 Toyota Tour at Hendrick Toyota of Merriam (9505 W 67th St, Merriam, KS). Supporters will have photograph opportunities with a Sporting KC player and the 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup trophy. All in attendance will also have the chance to receive a special “Be a Player” experience, which includes 10 passes to tour and watch Sporting KC training at Pinnacle followed by a meet-and-great with select players. In addition, Sporting KC will conduct ticket giveaways for home games on Aug. 18 and 25 against Portland and Minnesota, respectively.


Sporting KC will host a King of the Court futsal tournament on Saturday at ZSports in Lee's Summit, Missouri (707 Doc Henry Rd.), consisting of 5-v-5 matches for age groups 8-12 and 13-18. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. CT, featuring a block party complete with music, yard games, skills challenges, food trucks, music DJs and more.
