Rangers goalkeeper Eric Dick has won USL Save of the Week honors for the first time thanks to his stunning stop to deny Antoine Hoppenot in Sunday's 3-3 draw with Reno 1868 FC at Children's Mercy Park.

A 23-year-old rookie on loan from Sporting Kansas City, Dick earned 28.4 percent of the poll conducted online at USLSoccer.com, narrowly edging out San Antonio FCā€™s Matt Cardone on 27.6 percent.

Dick, who grew up in Roeland Park, Kansas, and played collegiately at Butler University, joined Sporting KC as the 13th overall pick in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft in January. He has made eight USL appearances for the Rangers in his rookie season, posting three shutouts.

Level on points for the eighth and final playoff spot in the USLā€™s Western Conference, the Rangers (9-9-7, 34 points) and San Antonio FC (9-8-7, 34 points) will meet at 7:30 p.m. CT Saturday at Toyota Field in San Antonio. The match will stream live on ESPN+.
