Sporting Kansas City enters today’s nationally televised clash against the Philadelphia Union with four players on the club’s injury report.
Striking duo Diego Rubio and Khiry Shelton are both listed as questionable with respective knee injuries, while Cristian Lobato and Jimmy Medranda both remain out with knee issues.
The Union have four players on their injury report, all coming in the questionable category. The league’s assist leader, Borek Dockal, has an ankle sprain, while defenders Raymon Gaddis and Matt Real have an ankle sprain and a knee sprain, respectively. Finally, creative midfielder Ilsinho is questionable with a quad strain.
Kickoff for today’s match is set for 12p.m. CT on ESPN, while Sports Radio 810 WHB (English) and ESPN Deportes 1480 AM (Spanish) will carry the game locally on the radio.
