Swope Park Rangers forward Hadji Barry is one of five finalists for September's USL Player of the Month, the United Soccer League announced today.

Fan voting is open online at USLsoccer.com through Monday, Oct. 8 at 12 p.m. ET. In addition, voting amongst the USL Technical Committee and the USL National Media Panel will determine the USL Player of the Month, which be officially awarded on Thursday, Oct. 11.

Barry scored in all five SPR matches last month, including three game-winning goals during the club's playoff push, as he set a new USL record with goals in eight straight games.

Sept. 2: Game-winning goal in 1-0 victory over OKC Energy FC
Sept. 9: Game-winning goal in 1-0 victory over Fresno FC
Sept. 15: Goal in 4-3 loss to Saint Louis FC
Sept. 19: Game-winning goal in 2-0 victory over San Antonio FC
Sept. 22: Goal in 1-1 draw at Tulsa Roughnecks FC

Barry, 25, has recorded career highs this year with 16 goals and five assists in his inaugural season for the Rangers. Barryā€™s 16 goals are fifth most in the United Soccer League in 2018 and the most in a single season by an SPR player in the teamā€™s three-year history.

A product of Monroe Community College and the University of Central Florida, Barry was selected by Orlando City SC in the first round of the 2016 MLS SuperDraft. He tallied an assist on his MLS debut in his first of 14 appearances for Orlando City SC from 2016-17 and would also contribute 14 goals and three assists for Orlando City B in the USL to bring his career totals to 30 goals and nine assists in three professional seasons.

The Rangers, back-to-back Western Conference champions, will host LA Galaxy II at 2 p.m. CT on Sunday, Oct. 14 at Children's Mercy Park in the team's regular season finale. Tickets are available online at SeatGeek.com and the first 500 fans in attendance will receive SPR t-shirts as part of Fan Appreciation Day festivities, which will also include specials on food, drinks and merchandise.

In addition, the Rangers will host a Matchday Clinic package that includes a pair of tickets, a one-hour postgame on-field clinic and player photos/autographs for just $45. Call 888-4KC-GOAL or follow SPR on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for more details.
