Sporting Kansas City will host its Fan Appreciation Match on Sunday, Oct. 28, when the club meets LAFC in a dramatic conclusion to the 2018 MLS regular season at Children’s Mercy Park.
Tickets for the all-important Decision Day clash, set for 3:30 p.m. CT, are available via SeatGeek.com as Sporting KC and LAFC battle for playoff positioning in the Western Conference.

As two elite teams in the West, Sporting KC and LAFC will lock horns in one of the biggest games on Decision Day, which will see 22 MLS clubs take the field simultaneously for the final round of regular season matches.
Sporting KC and LAFC are currently tied for second place in the Western Conference, and the outcome of their matchup on Oct. 28 could prove decisive in settling the overall playoff picture. The top two finishers in each conference receive Knockout Round byes to the conference semifinals, while the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds will host Knockout Round matches on either Oct. 31 or Nov. 1.
Led by Manager Peter Vermes, Sporting KC will round out their 2018 home slate with hopes of improving on a 9-2-5 record at Children’s Mercy Park this season. The world-class venue has been an unquestioned fortress for Sporting KC, who have lost just three of their last 46 competitive home games dating back to 2016.
