Sporting Kansas City right back Graham Zusi came in at No. 21 on the list of Major League Soccer's best-selling jerseys in 2018, the league announced today. Zusi, the lone defender among the top 25, is the only player to be on the list for a fifth straight season.
In his debut season with the LA Galaxy, striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic topped the list for most jerseys sold on MLSstore.com. LAFC forward Carlos Vela was second, while Atlanta's Josef Martinez, D.C. United's Wayne Rooney and Atlanta's Miguel Almiron rounded out the top five.
Zusi’s effectiveness on both sides of the field in 2018 has resulted in his sixth career MLS All-Star selection, tied for the second-most in club history. He has played every minute of all 33 MLS matches and contributed to 13 shutouts from the right back position. The 10th-year veteran has also tallied two goals and six assists, leads MLS defenders with 66 chances created, and ranks among the league leaders in the following metrics: touches (1st), successful passes in the final third (6th) and interceptions (11th).
