On Sunday, March 10, Sporting KC will host the Philadelphia Union at 2 p.m. CT in the club’s first MLS home fixture at Children’s Mercy Park. The matchup comes seven days after Manager Peter Vermes' side opens the MLS campaign at LAFC on Sunday, March 3.

MLS on Thursday unveiled the 2019 home openers for all 24 MLS clubs. The full MLS regular season schedule — including kickoff times and national television lineups for the United States and Canada — will be announced next month.
Sporting KC and Philadelphia have battled to an even series over the last decade, splitting their 18 meetings with six wins and six draws apiece in all competitions. The 2019 MLS regular season will see each club play 34 games, including 17 home games and 17 away games. Sporting KC will play each Western Conference club twice and each Eastern Conference team once.
