Sporting KC to host 2019 Season Kickoff and Kit Launch Party presented by Ivy Investments on Feb. 4 -

Sporting Kansas City supporters are invited to attend the 2019 Season Kickoff and Kit Launch Party presented by Ivy Investments on Monday, Feb. 4, at the iconic Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, Missouri (4525 Oak St.).

Held in partnership with adidas and Bud Light, the Season Kickoff and Kit Launch Party is free and open to the public. Fans planning to attend must secure a free ticket via SeatGeek.com, the official ticketing partner of Sporting KC. Guests will gain entry through mobile ticketing only and can obtain their tickets through the SeatGeek app, available for download on the App Store and Google Play.

The season-opening party will begin at 6 p.m. CT in the scenic Bloch Lobby of the Nelson-Atkins Museum, giving fans the opportunity to purchase food and beverages in an open space adorned by Sporting decorations.

From there, supporters will be ushered into the stunning Kirkwood Hall, where Sporting’s new primary jersey will be showcased and available to buy. Sporting KC Season Ticket Members in attendance will get expedited entry into Kirkwood Hall.

For the first time ever, fans will have an exclusive pre-order opportunity before the jersey is unveiled. Beginning Monday, Jan. 28, supporters can visit SportingStyle.com to pre-order the 2019 primary jersey. All fans who buy the new kit sight unseen will receive a free drink ticket at the launch party. The jersey will also go on sale the evening of Feb. 4 at MLSstore.com.

The celebration in Kirkwood Hall will include introductions and appearances from Sporting KC players and coaches, who will mingle with guests, take pictures and sign autographs.

Parking for the event is available in the Nelson-Atkins Museum parking garage, free for museum members and $10 for non-members. The $10 parking fee will directly benefit the Nelson-Atkins Museum, one of the most historic landmarks in Kansas City. Guests will then be led into the Bloch Lobby for the start of the celebration.

Tickets for Sporting’s first home match of the season — a first-leg matchup against Deportivo Toluca FC in the Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League Round of 16 — are now available at SeatGeek.com. Supporters can also purchase single-game tickets to any of the club’s first eight MLS home matches, beginning with Fan Appreciation Day versus Philadelphia Union on March 10 and ending with a showdown against Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the LA Galaxy on May 29.
