The Swope Park Rangers today headed south to continue preseason with a trip to Texas where the side will face North Texas SC at Toyota Soccer Center in Frisco, Texas on Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 11 a.m. CT.

Four members of the Rangers are currently in Scottsdale, Arizona training with Sporting KC: defenders Justin Bilyeu and Mark Segbers, midfielder Felipe Hernandez and forward Ethan Vanacore-Decker. In addition, Sporting KC's First and Second-Round picks in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft, Kamar Marriott and Camden Riley, have joined the Rangers for preseason.
The Rangers began preseason with a 5-0 victory over Barton Community College on Feb. 2 at Swope Soccer Village. Ethan Vanacore-Decker scored the opener before several trialists bagged goals in the second half. The Rangers’ second preseason match against Iowa Western Community College, scheduled for Feb. 9, was cancelled due to unplayable field conditions following a spell of winter weather in Kansas City.
North Texas SC, the newly-formed USL League One side of MLS club FC Dallas, will begin their inaugural season on March 30 against former SPR midfielder Ualefi and Chattanooga Red Wolves SC.
The Rangers will complete their current preseason trip by taking on Tulsa Roughnecks FC at Titan Sports and Performance Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Saturday, Feb. 16 at 1 p.m.
