It's highly probable that players and fans alike are still buzzing from Sporting Kansas City's 3-0 win over Independiente on Thursday at Children's Mercy Park, a result that has vaulted the club into the Concacaf Champions League Semifinals against Mexican giants Monterrey.
But before they can fully focus on next month's semifinal series, Manager Peter Vermes' men return to business in the regular season. There simply is no rest for the weary, as another game comes tonight in the form of a visit to Colorado.
The St. Patrick's Day showdown against the Rapids will kick off at 8 p.m. CT with television coverage on FOX Sports Kansas City and FOX Sports Midwest Plus. Three straight hours of live programming at Dick's Sporting Goods Park will begin at 7:30 p.m. CT. Listeners can also catch the contest on ESPN 94.5 FM (English) and ESPN Deportes KC 1480 AM (Spanish), with The Final Whistle postgame show airing immediately afterward on 94.5 FM.
Additionally, #COLvSKC will stream live on FOX Sports digital platforms, available for viewers within Sporting’s TV footprint who receive FOX Sports Kansas City or FOX Sports Midwest as part of their pay-TV subscription. To stream the game, fans must sign in with their pay-TV provider user ID and password.
Viewers elsewhere across the United States can stream the match on ESPN+.
The Western Conference match will also be replayed at 10:30 p.m. CT Sunday, 11 a.m. CT Tuesday, 6 p.m. CT next Friday and at 8 p.m. CT on March 23.
