The newest episode of the Sporting KC Show Podcast debuted Tuesday night on Sports Radio 810 WHB, shining the spotlight on Sporting Kansas City Manager Peter Vermes.


The 11th-year head coach shared a candid discussion with hosts Nate Bukaty and Carter Augustine, who opened the episode by recapping last week’s two-game road trip to Monterrey and Cincinnati.


The duo then shared the air with Vermes for a half-hour interview that touched on several compelling topics, including the development of Gianluca Busio, bridging the gap between Mexican and MLS clubs, the club’s resolute attitude in Sunday’s draw at FC Cincinnati and the team’s mindset ahead of their monumental second-leg showdown with Monterrey on Thursday at Children’s Mercy Park.
