National TV: #DCvSKC highlights Week 11 slate in MLS

A jam-packed weekend slate in Major League Soccer is once again highlighted by Sporting Kansas City, who will make their inaugural trip to Audi Field on Sunday for a showdown with four-time MLS Cup champion D.C. United at 6 p.m. CT.

The compelling matchup could see Sporting midfielder Benny Feilhaber make his 2019 debut for the club, having sealed his return from the Colorado Rapids on Wednesday. D.C. United, meanwhile, boast a wealth of talent with the likes of talismanic midfielder Luciano Acosta and English soccer legend Wayne Rooney.

Sunday's contest will air live on FS1, serving as one of four nationally televised fixtures in Week 11. The action begins Saturday at 1 p.m. CT when FC Dallas welcomes the New York Red Bulls in an interconference clash at Toyota Stadium. Two hours later, Zlatan Ibrahimovic the LA Galaxy host New York City FC in a star-studded matchup at StubHub Center.

At 1:30 p.m. CT on Sunday, upstart Atlanta United FC will battle archrivals Orlando City SC on the main FOX network. That game will set the stage for D.C. United versus Sporting in the nightcap.
