Sporting to host Faith & Family Night on Saturday, featuring testimony from guests Dustin Colquitt and Wayne Simien

Sporting Kansas City will host Faith & Family Night on Saturday in conjunction with the club’s home match against Vancouver Whitecaps FC, set for 7:30 p.m. CT at Children’s Mercy Park.


While supplies last, supporters can click here to purchase a $25 package that includes a South Stand general admission ticket to the match plus access to the Leaders in Faith Pre-Match Panel featuring Kansas City Chiefs Pro Bowl punter Dustin Colquitt, former University of Kansas basketball star and NBA champion Wayne Simien, and local Pastor Ryan Darrow.


Beginning at 6 p.m. CT, Colquitt and Simien will share faith-based testimony inside the Ameritas Shield Club while interacting with fans in attendance. Supporters who attend the panel will also have the option of purchasing a Faith & Family dinner voucher, consisting of one soda, one bag of chips and the choice of a hot dog, hamburger, cheeseburger or chicken tenders.

At the conclusion of the speaker series, Colquitt and Simien will be available for autographs and photo opportunities with fans on the Toyota Plaza.


Saturday marks the second annual Faith & Family Night for Sporting. The inaugural event in April 2018 featured testimony from Simien (pictured below with Sporting defender Seth Sinovic) and former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Chris Conley.

Sporting kicks off a pivotal three-game homestand on Saturday, and the first 5,000 fans through the stadium gates will receive a clear Sporting bag courtesy of match sponsor Children’s Mercy. The game will also be televised live on FOX Sports Kansas City Plus and FOX Sports Midwest Plus with 30 minutes of pregame and postgame coverage, while Sports Radio 810 WHB and ESPN Deportes KC 1480 AM will carry local radio broadcasts.
