With USL Championship goalkeepers combining for over 100 saves in Week 16, there was stiff competition for the USL Championship Fansā Choice Save of the Week.
Even so, Rangers goalkeeper Eric Dick managed to claim the weekly award today for his superb reflex stop to deny Robert Kristo in the 52nd minute of a 2-0 loss at North Carolina FC last Saturday. Dick won the fan vote by edging out four other nominees.
In addition to thwarting Kristo on the breakaway, Dick produced a stunning double-save to stymy Donovan Ewolo and Dre Fortune in the dying embers of the match.
Head coach Paulo Nagamuraās side will conclude a two-game road swing this Saturday, traveling to face the Charleston Battery at MUSC Health Stadium in Charleston, South Carolina. The Eastern Conference clash will kick off at 6:30 p.m. CT and stream live on ESPN+.
