Thousands pack KC Live! Block for USA's World Cup semifinal win over England

The United States Women's National Team continued their dogged run in the FIFA Women's World Cup on Tuesday, ousting England 2-1 to reach Sunday's final at 10 a.m. CT.

The U.S. WNT won't know their opponent until Wednesday afternoon when the Netherlands and Sweden square off, but one thing is certain: Kansas City will be ready to party on Sunday.

Thousands of impassioned fans packed the Kansas City Live! Block in the Kansas City Power & Light District on Tuesday afternoon, exploding after goals from Christen Press and Alex Morgan as well as a decisive, late penalty kick save from Alyssa Naeher.

The thrilling victory means Kansas City soccer supporters will have one last opportunity to gather on Sunday morning when the Americans play for their second straight World Cup title and their fourth overall.

Below are some of the biggest moments to emerge from Tuesday's pulsating watch party, which offered yet another reminder that Kansas City is ready to welcome the world's biggest sporting event and become an official Host City for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
