VOTE: Benny Feilhaber half volley up for AT&T Goal of the Week

A jam-packed Week 24 slate of MLS action produced 49 goals. Arguable none were better than Benny Feilhaber's half volley in the 50th minute of Sporting Kansas City's 2-1 comeback win over the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday night at Children's Mercy Park.

Feilhaber's strike is one of five finalists for AT&T Goal of the Week, with fan voting at MLSsoccer.com open until midnight PT on Wednesday. The long-range effort is up against goals from Columbus Crew SC's Pedro Santos, Atlanta United FC's Josef Martinez, New York City FC's Valentin Castellanos and New York Red Bulls' Marc Rzatkowski.

In addition to landing a spot on the Goal of the Week ballot, Feilhaber has now become one of 17 players in Major League Soccer history to record at least 40 goals and 60 assists throughout his regular season career. He joins Portland Timbers playmaker Diego Valeri and Columbus veteran Federico Higuain as the only active MLS players on the exclusive list.

Feilhaber and Sporting will continue their playoff pursuit Thursday night when second-place Minnesota United FC visits Children's Mercy Park for a Heineken Rivalry Week showdown at 8:30 p.m. CT. Tickets for the contest are available at SeatGeek.com or by calling 888-4KC-GOAL to secure a Family 4 Pack, consisting of four tickets, four Coca-Cola products, four hot dogs and four bags of chips.

Thursday's match will be shown live nationally on ESPN, the ESPN app and ESPN Deportes, while listeners can catch the action locally on Sports Radio 810 WHB and ESPN Deportes KC 1480 AM. The Final Whistle postgame show will air immediately afterwards on 810 WHB.
