Sporting Kansas City's 2020 campaign will begin in earnest on Saturday with a showdown against Vancouver Whitecaps FC at BC Place. The Western Conference clash will mark the first time ever that Sporting has kicked off an MLS season in the month of February, giving eager fans an early dose of MLS action as Week 1 commences across the United States and Canada.
Supporters can catch the 9:30 p.m. CT clash on FOX Sports Kansas City, FOX Sports Midwest Plus and FOX Sports GO, including 30 minutes of pre-match and post-match coverage with Nate Bukaty, Jacob Peterson and touchline reporter Carter Augustine on the call. Fans can also listen locally on Sports Radio 810 WHB (English) and La Grande 1340 AM (Spanish).
#VANvSKC will stream live on FOX Sports digital platforms, available for viewers within Sporting’s TV footprint who receive FOX Sports Kansas City or FOX Sports Midwest as part of their pay-TV subscription. To stream the game, fans must sign in with their pay-TV provider user ID and password.
Viewers elsewhere across the United States can stream the match on ESPN+.
The match will be replayed on the main FOX Sports Kansas City channel at 12 a.m. CT Sunday and 9 a.m. CT next Wednesday, March 4.
Supporters in the Kansas City area looking for the best watch party locations can select from any of the club's official pub partners for the 2020 season. Additionally, Johnny's Tavern in Prairie Village, Kansas, will feature prize giveaways and drink specials during an all-ages viewing party that punctuates the highly anticipated First Kick celebration at Corinth Square.
