As the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference, Sporting Kansas City will begin their pursuit of an MLS Cup title on Sunday when the club hosts No. 8 seed San Jose Earthquakes in Round One of the Audi 2020 MLS Cup Playoffs at Children's Mercy Park.


Kickoff is slated for 3 p.m. CT with national coverage on FS1, FOX Deportes and the FOX Sports app. The highly anticipated matchup will also air locally on ESPN 94.5 FM and La Grande 1340 AM, with The Final Whistle postgame show immediately following on ESPN 94.5 FM.


A new episode of the Sporting Kansas City Show will debut Tuesday at 7 p.m. CT on Sports Radio 810 WHB. Hosts Nate Bukaty, Carter Augustine and Aly Trost will hear from a Sporting guest and look ahead to Sunday's playoff showdown between Sporting and San Jose. The deadline for fans to cast their vote for the AT&T 2020 MLS Goal of the Year is Wednesday at 8 p.m. CT. Sporting forward Erik Hurtado is one of 16 nominees for the annual award thanks to his world-class volley in a 2-1 win over Nashville SC on Oct. 11.


Sporting Kansas City will recognize the club's outstanding performances over the course of the season on Thursday when winners are announced for the 2020 Sporting Club Awards presented by Audi. Fan voting for the Sporting Club Awards remains open at SportingKC.com through Wednesday.
