Pulido figures to have a busy 2021 campaign ahead of him for both club and country. After leading the team with seven goals and five assists during the shortened 2020 season, the Mexican striker is now preparing for a condensed 2021 slate that will see Sporting play 34 league matches from April 17 to Nov. 7. Manager Peter Vermes' side also faces potential participation in other competitions over the course of the year, not to mention the MLS Cup Playoffs running from mid-November to Dec. 11.
On the international stage, Pulido is set to represent Mexico in a pair of friendly matches later this month in Europe. El Tri's 2021 calendar is highlighted by the Concacaf Nations League, Concacaf Gold Cup and FIFA World Cup qualifying.
