Sporting Kansas City II returns home to take on St. Louis CITY 2 after a 10-day, three match road trip along the pacific coast. Kickoff for the Saturday night showdown is set for 7 p.m. CT and tickets are on sale for just $10 at SeatGeek.com. The game can also be streamed in the OneFootball app and at MLSNEXTPro.com.

Head coach Lee Tschantret and his group are looking to keep their fine home form going as Sporting KC II has earned three straight home results. They started the streak with wins over MNUFC 2 and Houston Dynamo 2 before sharing the points with Colorado Rapids 2 in a 2-2 draw on August 15.

In SKC II's last home game, Blaine Mabie netted his first goal of the season. The co-captain alongside defender Pierre Lurot has played a major role in Sporting's 2026 campaign, starting 18 of 21 appearances this season. He has played a majority of his minutes as a defensive midfielder alongside Gael Quintero who also has one goal in 18 starts.

Forward Tega Ikoba also found the back of the net against Rapids 2, giving him six goals in his first season in Kansas City. He ranks second on the team, one behind Kashan Hines and Missael Rodriguez. Hines, a 17-year-old member of the Sporting KC Academy has burst onto the scene this year, adding an assist to go along with his seven goals. He has earned 15 starts and played 1266 minutes as an amateur player.

Rodriguez equaled Hines' total in the last SKC II game, finding the back of the net against Whitecaps FC 2. He has notched two assists as well, pacing the team at nine goal contributions.

Leading the way in the assists category is SKC Academy alumnus Shane Donovan with three. One behind him are six players including midfielder Trevor Burns how picked up his second assist Sunday against Vancouver.

St. Louis started the year with a nine game unbeaten run. Since the start of July however, they have just two wins. They enter Saturday in sixth place in the Western Conference, six points clear of 10th place MNUFC 2 who would miss out on the ninth and final playoff spot by one point.

Sporting KC II will play their final home match of the season against LAFC 2 on Sunday, Sept. 13. The home finale will begin at 7 p.m. CT and will air live on MLSNEXTPro.com and in the OneFootball app. Tickets are on sale at SeatGeek.com for just $10.
