Sporting Kansas City will kick off the club's highly anticipated 2024 season on the road against the Houston Dynamo at 7:30 p.m. CT on Saturday at Shell Energy Stadium.
The rematch of last year's Western Conference Semifinals will stream live on Apple TV for MLS Season Pass subscribers with English and Spanish streams available. Pub Partners in the Sporting Pub Network will also show all of the action, including the club's official watch party at No Other Pub (1370 Grand Blvd.) in the Kansas City Power & Light District. Food and drink specials will start at 6:30 p.m. CT on Saturday including $4 Anheuser-Busch drafts, $5 wells and 50% off select appetizers.
SEASON KICKOFF PARTY ON TUESDAY
Sporting Kansas City will host a Season Kickoff Party presented by Compass Minerals, adidas and Michelob Ultra from 6:30-9 p.m. CT on Tuesday at The Truman (601 E. Truman Rd.) in downtown Kansas City with Sporting players all in attendance to celebrate the start of the new MLS campaign. Doors will open to all ticket holders beginning at 6:30 p.m. and parking is available in public lots in the area as well as streets surrounding the venue.
Local band The Crossroad Sound will provide live music for guests from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and MLS Season Pass broadcaster Nate Bukaty will host the event, highlighted by an introduction of Sporting Kansas City’s 2024 roster as players take the stage. Drinks and snacks will be available to purchase inside The Truman and a SportingStyle pop-up store will be on site to sell Sporting Kansas City merchandise.

MLS ROSTER COMPLIANCE DEADLINE ON FRIDAY
With the 2024 MLS regular season beginning this week, Friday will serve as the MLS Roster Compliance date for Sporting Kansas City at which point all teams must be fully compliant with the league's roster rules and regulations.
SKC II TO PLAY UMKC IN PRESEASON ON SATURDAY
Sporting KC II will continue the club's 2024 preseason presented by Central Bank at 2 p.m. CT this Saturday with an exhibition match against UMKC at Swope Soccer Village (6310 Lewis Rd.) in Kansas City, Missouri. Coming off an appearance in the Western Conference Quarterfinals a season ago, Sporting KC II will kick off this year's MLS NEXT Pro season on March 17.
