Kick off Rivalry Week with Sporting Slam, the inaugural Sporting KC pickleball tournament! All proceeds from this tournament will be donated to The Victory Project.
Event Details:
Date: Thursday, August 31
Time: 6PM – 9:30PM
Location: Chicken N Pickle South (5901 W 135th St, Overland Park, KS 66223)
The tournament will consist of 36 teams. Teams can range from beginner to intermediate and coed teams are welcome! Each team will play three guaranteed matches, two round robin style matches followed by a single elimination round. All participants must be 18+.
First place winners will receive a Sporting Kansas City prize pack including a signed jersey, signed pickleball paddles, four tickets to a 2023 Sporting KC regular season match, and a Chicken N Pickle voucher for future court reservations.
Second Place winners will receive 4 tickets to a regular season match agreed upon by Sporting KC and Soccer Capital of America Scarves.
Third Place winners will receive 4 tickets to a regular season match agreed upon by Sporting KC.
