Last week, we posted a #TBT looking back at Matt Besler's first cap for the U.S. Men's National Team during U.S. Soccer's 2013 January Camp.
After earning his stripes during that camp four years ago, Besler is now one of the veteran leaders of the squad. The Sporting KC captain has 29 appearances for the senior national team. Excluding Seattle Sounders FC defender Brad Evans, the remaining defenders on the squad have a combined two senior team appearances.
