Oh Say Can You Sing? #Summer16

National Anthem Contest - 2016

Sporting KC's national anthem contest is back for the fourth consecutive year. In case you don't remember years past, 'Oh Say Can You Sing?' gives Sporting Kansas City fans with a knack for melody the opportunity to sing the national anthem in front of 20,000 fans at Children's Mercy Park.

This year's contest will take place on Tuesday at No Other Pub at halftime of the U.S. Men's National Team's World Cup qualifier vs. Trinidad and Tobago. The match will kick off at 7 p.m. CT with live coverage on FS1 and UniMas. It will also be featured on the cinema screen at No Other Pub with drink specials for USMNT fans in attendance.

Watching our nation wouldn't be complete without a side of patriotism, so what better time to host our annual national anthem contest than in conjunction with a USMNT match featuring Sporting KC's Matt Besler and Graham Zusi.

New this year to the contest is the addition of celebrity judges: Sporting KC winger Jacob Peterson will team up with Sporting KC play-by-play commentator Nate Bukaty.

Think you have what it takes? Here's what you need to do to participate:
