U-18 Head Coach

LEE TSCHANTRET returns to Kansas City with almost 18 years of coaching under his belt at numerous levels and a lengthy playing career to go along with it.

Tschantret graduated from the University of Phoenix with a BA in Business Management and earned his Master of Science in Coaching Education, Recreation, and Sports Science from the University of Ohio. As a player, he was captain of the United States National Futsal Team, playing in the 2004 Indoor World Cup in Taipei and several other prestigious tournaments. As a member of the Kansas City Attack in the National Professional Soccer League, he helped guide the team to a 1997 NPSL Championship title.

Beginning his coaching and administration career in soccer in 2004, Tschantret has run multiple leagues, clubs, and academies. He is a two-time Maryland MIAA A State Champion and has been named State Coach of the Year by five different publications.

The well-experienced coach was an assistant for the U-18 U.S. Men’s National Team and holds a USSF National A License.
