Alekzandur finishes strong at eMLS League Series One in Philadelphia

2020 eMLS League Series One in Philadelphia

Sporting Kansas City’s eMLS representative posted a winning record on Thursday as Alekzandur ended his eMLS League Series One campaign with four consecutive victories.


Competing in Philadelphia among 24 other gamers at the first eMLS event of 2020, Alekzandur went 6-3-3 in the qualifying round and placed 10th overall. The top seven finishers have advanced to tomorrow night’s knockout rounds, which fans can watch live on twitch.tv/mls and twitch.tv/esportingkc.


An up-and-down start to the day left Alekzandur with a 2-3-3 record through eight fixtures, but wins over players repping Montreal Impact, Minnesota United FC, New England Revolution and Nashville SC will give Sporting’s eMLS star momentum ahead of the next two eMLS events on the 2020 calendar.


2020 eMLS Calendar

  • Jan. 9-10 – League Series One in Philadelphia
    (Alekzandur goes 6-3-3, finishes 10th)
  • Feb. 15 – League Series Two in Portland, Oregon
  • March 21 – eMLS Cup in Austin, Texas


The 2020 eMLS season feature s25 eMLS players, each representing different MLS clubs, in a quest to be crowned the best EA SPORTS FIFA 20 player in North America. During the first two League Series events, Alekzandur will accumulate points to determine seeding for eMLS Cup.


League Series One is taking place this week in Philadelphia in conjunction with the Philadelphia Union. League Series Two will be held in Portland in conjunction with the Portland Timbers. The eMLS season will conclude in March in Austin, Texas when SXSW hosts eMLS Cup presented by PlayStation.
