Dom Dwyer scored for the third straight MLS match in Sporting KC’s 2-1 loss at the Chicago Fire on Sunday. In doing so, the English forward became the 10th player in Sporting KC history to score in at least three consecutive regular season appearances. If Dwyer scores in his next League match, he will become just the third player in team history to score in four straight regular season games.

With Sporting KC missing several defenders through injury and international duty, center back Erik Palmer-Brown earned his MLS debut and first for the club. At 17 years and 24 days old, the Lee’s Summit, Missouri native became the youngest player in MLS history to start a regular season match as a defender. Palmer-Brown received a red card in the 64th minute after picking up his second caution of the day.
