Things are picking up in Tucson, Arizona where Sporting Kansas City is training ahead of the 2017 Major League Soccer season. Sporting KC fell to the San Jose Earthquakes 1-0 on Tuesday in its first scrimmage of preseason, presented by Children's Mercy. Training resumed on Wednesday as Peter Vermes' side works toward its second preseason scrimmage next week against the New England Revolution.
