Sporting Kansas City's June 9th home opener inside state-of-the-art LIVESTRONG Sporting Park is now under two weeks away. Sporting Kansas City held their first formal walkthrough of the facility last week and Sporting Kansas City Season Ticket Members visited the $200 million, state-of-the-art venue over the course of three days earlier this week to pick-up their 2011 season ticket packages.

Sporting Kansas City will hold their first full training at the facility on Tuesday, May 31st and the team will invite members of the media for Media Day on June 7th in the lead-up to the grand opening on June 9th against rivals Chicago Fire on ESPN2. A limited number of tickets remain available for the inaugural match and can be purchased on TicketMaster.com or by calling 888-4KC-GOAL.
