LIVESTRONG Sporting Park Job Fair Tuesday

LIVESTRONG Sporting Park

Individuals interested in applying for part-time, event staff positions at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park are encouraged to attend a job fair from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Stadium Management Construction Trailer (southwest corner of Nebraska Furniture Mart parking lot, 1699 Village West Parkway, Kansas City, KS 66111). Global Spectrum, announced last September as the lead manager and operator of Sporting Kansas City's state-of-the-art new venue, is hosting the job fair as the company looks to fill a variety of new employment opportunities for roles throughout the facility, including ticket takers, ushers and concierge.

LIVESTRONG Sporting Park, which will seat 18,467 supporters for soccer matches, is scheduled to open June 9th as Sporting Kansas City faces the Chicago Fire at 9:00 p.m. on ESPN2. The $200 million stadium will feature a full slate of Sporting Kansas City's 17 regular season MLS matches, as well as international soccer matches, including the U.S. Men's National Team for the CONCACAF Gold Cup doubleheader on June 14th and EPL club Newcastle United for a friendly on July 20th.

In addition to soccer matches, LIVESTRONG Sporting Park is also designed with a world-class sound system and supporting infrastructure to host concerts with crowds of up to 25,000 people. The venue includes four concert green rooms and a retractable seating area on the south end to provide ample staging area for musical acts. The playing surface at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park is also suited to welcome other athletic events such as rugby, football and lacrosse. Moreover, the stadium features an array of premium spaces available for hosting private and public events, with a 124,000 square foot event plaza and five clubs, including the first-of-its-kind Member’s Club that can hold up to 2,000 people for social events like team watch parties.
