Heartland meets Hollywood this weekend as Sporting Kansas City (10-6-6, 36 points) visits expansion side Los Angeles Football Club (10-6-6, 36 points) for the first time at Banc of California Stadium.
All supporters are welcome to the official watch party for Saturday's pivotal matchup at No Other Pub in the Kansas City Power & Light District (1370 Grand Blvd.). From 9 p.m. CT until the final whistle, No Other Pub will offer $4 Bud Light drafts and an all-you-can-eat buffet package with endless soda ($20 per person) or domestic draft beers ($30 per person). Saturday’s clash will pit two teams tied for third place in the Western Conference with identical records. High-scoring LAFC is led by the likes of Mexican international Carlos Vela, prolific goal scorer Adama Diomande and former Sporting KC duo Benny Feilhaber and Latif Blessing. Sporting KC, meanwhile, has added forward Krisztian Nemeth and defender Andreu Fontas to their ranks ahead of Wednesday's MLS transfer deadline.
