Sporting Kansas City heads to Stade Saputo on Saturday night to take on Eastern Conference opponent Montreal Impact. The match is scheduled to kickoff at 6:30 p.m. CT and will be televised on KMCI's 38 the Spot locally and SKCTV across the midwest. The match will also be available on Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Gran D 1340 AM.

Supporters are encouraged to join Sporting KC's official watch party on Saturday at Johnny's Tavern in the KC Power & Light District (1310 Grand Boulevard) or at the Shawnee location (13410 W. 62nd Terrace). Select Boulevard draft specials will be available at all Johnny's Tavern watch parties for Sporting KC away matches in 2014, as well as the "Blue Believer" signature cocktail (Dragon Berry, Lemon-Lime Red Bull and Blue Curacao).

Sporting KC sits in second place in the Eastern Conference with 26 points and a 7-5-5 record after a 1-1 draw against the Chicago Fire at Sporting Park last weekend. Sporting KC's Dom Dwyer scored his team-leading 12th goal this season after dispossessing Fire defender Patrick Ianni 30 yards away from goal and calmly slotting the ball past Sean Johnson in the 33rd minute of play. Chicago Fire's Mike Magee equalized just before halftime.

Saturday marks the third regular season meeting between Sporting KC and the Impact this year with Sporting KC earning convincing victories on the two previous occasions, a 4-0 result in April at Sporting Park followed by a 3-0 win at Stade Saputo in May. In the last meeting between these two sides, Montreal's Collen Warner received a straight red card in the 17th minute for a goal-line hand ball reducing the Impact to 10-men for the majority of the match.

Dwyer scored four of Sporting KC's seven goals against Montreal this season with two in each meeting. Dwyer ranks second in the League for goals scored in 2014. Jack McInerney ranks seventh for goals scored this season with seven and leads Montreal with six goals scored since joining the Impact in April. McInerney scored two goals in the club's last home match, a 3-0 victory of the Houston Dynamo on June 29.

Sporting KC's six MLS regular season victories all-time on Canadian soil are second most by an American club behind D.C. United's eight. Sporting KC are one of two teams with multiple victories at Stade Saputo (2-1-1) since the Impact entered MLS in 2012. Montreal holds a 23-11-8 regular season record at home over the last three years.

The Impact dropped their last MLS outting 1-0, allowing the game-winning goal from Chivas USA striker Erick Torres in second half stoppage time at StubHub Center.

Sporting KC will be without goalkeeper Eric Kronberg for the first time this season on Saturday. Kronberg fractured the fourth metacarpal bone on his left hand during training on Wednesday. Midfielder Toni Dovale returns from his two-game suspension and will be available for selection by Manager Peter Vermes.
