Continuing in its mission to create more inclusive development pathways for high-potential youth players, U.S. Soccer announced the launch of the U.S. U-15 and U-16 Boys’ National Team Futures program, beginning with a joint training camp to be held Feb. 19-24 at McCurry Park in Fayetteville, Ga.

U.S. U-16 BNT head coach Paul Simpson and U.S. U-15 BNT head coach Ross Brady have each called up 24 players for their initial Futures camp, including Sporting KC Academy goalkeeper Brady Krysiewicz.

Krysiewicz joined the Sporting KC Academy in 2022 after making the move from his hometown of Madison Heights, Virginia. A tall and athletic goalkeeper, he has represented the club at every age level from U-13 through U-16 and competed at prestigious MLS NEXT events as well as Sporting KC's Patterson Cup and Cronos Cup in Guadalajara, Mexico.

He played a pivotal roll in the U-15s success throughout the 2024-25 MLS NEXT season, keeping two clean sheets at the 2025 MLS NEXT Flex to help the group qualify for the 2025 MLS NEXT Cup Playoffs. Krysiewicz was named Blue KC Sporting Samaritan for March in 2025 thanks to his work running the non-profit Keeper for a Cure which raises funds for various cancer nonprofits in both the Kansas City area and Virginia

After attending his first US Youth National Team Camp, Krysiewicz will rejoin the Academy for the remainder of the 2025-26 MLS NEXT season which will see the boys compete at GA Cup, MLS NEXT Flex and attempt to earn a spot in the 2026 MLS NEXT Cup Playoffs in May. Fans can keep track of the Academy by following @SKCAcademy on X and Instagram.

Developed through The U.S. Way strategy, the Boys’ National Team Futures initiative will provide additional programming throughout the year for players from ages 14 to 16 years old, with the goal of identifying, supporting and developing high-potential players who physically mature later than their peers. The initiative is additive to the already-existing Men’s Youth National Team structure, which operates seven teams between the U-15 and U-23 age groups, with the  U-15 and U-16 BNT Futures each set to gather for camps three times throughout the calendar year.

“We’re excited to add the Boys National Team Futures program to the National Team setup,” said Barry Pauwels, Men’s Youth National Teams Head of Development. “Recognizing that development timelines vary widely for players that are 14 to 16 years old, this initiative creates a more inclusive pathway for high-potential players who might be overlooked due to later physical maturation at these ages. This commitment from U.S. Soccer allows us to provide equal opportunity for more players in these age groups, while also maximizing the depth of our overall talent pool.”
