Sporting Kansas City, Community Blood Center and presenting partner Saint Luke's are teaming up to host another urgent blood drive at Sporting Park. Community Blood Center must collect almost 600 units of blood daily to meet the needs of area hospital patients. The blood drive will take place from 12-6 p.m. on Thursday, March 26 with all registered donors receiving a free-shirt, while supplies last.
Community members can make an appointment for the blood drive online. Appointments for the blood drive are strongly encouraged and walk-ins will only be accepted as capacity safely allows.
The blood drive will take place inside the Budweiser Brew House, located at the northeast corner of Sporting Park at the intersection of Village West Parkway and France Family Drive in Kansas City, Kansas.
It only takes one hour to donate and a single donation can save multiple lives.
