āWe are so appreciative of Sporting Kansas Cityās partnership in our Book Drive,ā said Dr. Cindy Lane, superintendent of schools. āReading is critical to our studentsā success in school and in their futures. By providing them with a variety of reading material, we are enhancing their reading skills and fostering in them a love of reading, which we hope they will carry with them throughout their lives.ā
The āWhat Are You Reading?ā initiative was developed by Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools, in partnership with the KCK Chamber of Commerce, to change lives through reading. Visit the programās official Facebook page for more information.
