This week's edition of the Sporting KC Show aired on Sports Radio 810 WHB on Tuesday as hosts Nate Bukaty, Aly Trost and Conall McCourt welcomed defender Ben Sweat as a special guest.
In his seventh MLS season, Sweat joined Sporting Kansas City in the offseason from Austin FC and has started each of the club's last four matches at left back. Sweat earned his 12th career regular season assist on Saturday, setting up Remi Walter in the 25th minute to give Sporting Kansas City the 1-0 lead against Nashville SC at Children's Mercy Park.
Sporting Kansas City (2-5-0, 6 points) will take on Western Conference leaders LAFC (4-1-1, 13 points) at 3 p.m. CT on Sunday at Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles.Â
