A new edition of the Sporting KC Show Podcast is now available as co-hosts Jon Kempin and Blake Aerni previews the club's Sunday showdown with the Portland Timbers and interview midfielder Remi Walter, who scored his second goal of the season in the club's 3-1 win in Toronto last weekend.
In addition, Sporting KC defender Jake Davis was a special guest on The Program with Soren Petro on Tuesday. Davis was named to the league's Team of the Matchday this week after scoring his first career MLS goal in the 3-1 win with a stunning strike from 30 yards out that finished runner-up in MLS Goal of the Matchday voting.

Sporting Kansas City will kick off a three-match homestand this Sunday when the club takes on a Portland Timbers side led by Brazilian midfielder Evander and Uruguayan forward Jonathan Rodriguez. The Western Conference clash will kick off at 12:55 p.m. CT and tickets are available online at SeatGeek, including the Coca-Cola Friends & Family 4-Pack and the Wild West 5-Pack.
The MLS Matchday 8 finale will be free to watch on MLS Season Pass via Apple TV in addition to national television broadcasts on FOX and FOX Deportes as well as local radio coverage on Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Grande 1340 AM.
