Sporting KC Show Podcast welcomes Benny Feilhaber and John Pulskamp

Running throughout the season on Sports Radio 810 WHB, the Sporting Kansas City Show presented by Michelob Ultra is available on several podcast hubs such as Spotify and iTunes as well as SportingKC.com. With Nate Bukaty hosting the weekly program, Sporting fans have a place to go to catch up on club storylines, guest interviews and more.

This week's edition of the Sporting KC Show aired on Sports Radio 810 WHB on Thursday as hosts Nate Bukaty and Aly Trost were joined by Sporting KC II head coach Benny Feilhaber and Sporting Kansas City goalkeeper John Pulskamp.

Feilhaber has led SKC II to four straight road wins with victories at Portland, San Jose, Houston and Colorado. Sporting KC II will continue the club's inaugural season in MLS NEXT Pro at 8 p.m. CT on Saturday against Western Conferences foes Real Monarchs at Zions Bank Stadium. The match will stream live on mlsnextpro.com in addition to in-game updates available from @SportingKCII on Twitter.

Pulskamp was one of five Homegrown Players to start for Sporting - a first for the club in an MLS match - in Wednesday's 1-1 road result at Minnesota United FC. The 21-year-old goalkeeper made three saves in his first MLS appearance of the year and earned the praise of Manager Peter Vermes.

"He was tremendous the whole game," Vermes said in his postgame press conference. "He played really well. In the second half, he was a monster...He maintained his focus and made great saves."

"John was amazing," Sporting Kansas City defender Kayden Pierre said. "He made some big saves. Him and Tim (Melia) have been good the last couple of games, which is big for us."

Sporting Kansas City will conclude the club's three-match road trip this weekend when the team takes on Real Salt Lake (8-6-6, 30 points) at 8:30 p.m. CT on Sunday at Rio Tinto Stadium.

Sunday's match will be locally televised on 38 The Spot with three hours of coverage beginning at 8 p.m. CT. The broadcast will also stream live on SportingKC.com and in the Sporting KC app for viewers in Kansas and Missouri (excluding the St. Louis area per MLS policy), as well as ESPN+ for out-of-market subscribers.

The match will also air locally on Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Grande 1340 AM. In addition, Sporting KC Pub Partnersacross the Midwest will be showing the matches including an enhanced watch party on Sunday in the Turn 2 Sports Bar & Restaurant at Hollywood Casino in Kansas City, Kan., featuring food and drink specials, the largest TV in Kansas and $10 in mycash for all attendees.
