Sporting KC standouts nominated for Honorary ESPYS presented by Sports Radio 810 WHB

For the first time since the inception of the ESPYS in 1993, ESPN has given select cities across the country the opportunity to award Honorary ESPYS in various sports categories.

Sports Radio 810 WHB, the official radio partner of Sporting Kansas City, announced earlier this month that it has partnered with ESPN to award Honorary ESPYS for sports figures in the Kansas City community and its surrounding areas.

The end result is a fan voting ballot that includes 16 different categories and heavy representation from Sporting Kansas City. Supporters can cast their votes by clicking here or by using the hashtag #810ESPYS plus the individual's name and award on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

So which members of Sporting Kansas City are on the ballot? Check out the list below and be sure to cast your votes for Sporting before the polls close at midnight on Tuesday, June 16.
