Sporting Kansas City (8-2-5, 29 points) kept hold of first place in the Western Conference with a 1-1 draw at the Portland Timbers on Saturday night. The club will return to Children's Mercy Park this Saturday at 8 p.m. CT to host FC Dallas in the 2018 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Round of 16. Tickets for the match are included in Sporting KC Season Ticket Member packages, while tickets for the general public are on sale now at SeatGeek.com. Sporting KC is the reigning U.S. Open Cup champion and a four-time winner of the prestigious tournament, including titles in 2004, 2012, 2015 and 2017. Saturday's showdown will stream live on SportingKC.com and air on Sports Radio 810 WHB, with The Final Whistle postgame show immediately afterward on 810 WHB.

The Swope Park Rangers (6-3-4, 22 points) used an early goal from Hadji Barry to post a 1-0 road win over Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC on Saturday night. Led by head coach Paulo Nagamura, the Rangers will take the field twice this week, beginning with Wednesday's home clash at 7:30 p.m. CT against USL Western Conference leaders Real Monarchs (10-2-1, 31 points) at Children's Mercy Park. Tickets are available at SeatGeek.com and the match will stream live on ESPN+. SPR will then hit the road for a matchup with expansion side Fresno FC (3-4-7, 16 points), kicking off at 8 p.m. CT Sunday at Chukchansi Park in Fresno, California and streaming live on ESPN+.

The Victory Project will host its annual Fundraiser Soccer Clinic at 6 p.m. CT Tuesday at Children's Mercy Park. Seven Sporting KC players will help conduct the clinic with roughly 100 kids from age 6-12, teaching soccer skills in an event that raises money for The Victory Project. On Wednesday, FIFA will hold a vote at the 68th FIFA Congress in Moscow, Russia, to pick the host for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The vote consists of two candidates: a joint entry from the United States, Canada and Mexico (called the United Bid) and a bid from Morocco. The decision on the 2026 host will come Wednesday at the end of the FIFA Congress.

Beginning Thursday, No Other Pub in the Kansas City Power & Light District (1370 Grand Blvd., Kansas City, MO) will be Sporting KC's World Cup headquarters throughout the 2018 FIFA World Cup this summer. No Other Pub will open early at 9 a.m. on World Cup matchdays to show 54 of the 64 matches live on the venue's 150-square-foot video wall and surrounding HDTV screens. Food and drink specials will be available during each day's World Cup watch party and attendees can enter to win giveaways including Sporting KC tickets.

Eight Sporting KC players are eligible for selection in the online voting ballot for the 2018 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target. Fans can visit MLSsoccer.com through Wednesday, June 20, to vote Sporting KC players into the Fan XI.
