Sporting Kansas City will aim to extend the club’s six-match unbeaten run and five-match home winning streak on Sunday in the team’s home finale against Seattle Sounders FC. The Western Conference clash will be nationally televised on FS1 and FOX Deportes with kick off set for 4:25 p.m. CT at Children’s Mercy Park. Local radio coverage will be available on ESPN Kansas City 94.5 FM (English) and La Grande 1340 AM (Spanish)

Tickets for the club’s annual Fan Appreciation Match are available online at SeatGeek.com and the first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive Sporting KC key chains courtesy of match sponsor UMKC.

NDENBE AND TZIONIS ON INTERNATIONAL DUTY

Two Sporting Kansas City players have joined their national teams during the current FIFA window. Left back Logan Ndenbe and the Belgium U-21 Men's National Team take on France at 2 p.m. CT today at Stade du Hainaut in Valenciennes in preparation for the 2023 UEFA Under-21 Championship. Winger Marinos Tzionis scored the game-winning goal for the Cyprus Men's National Team  on Saturday and will conclude the 2022-23 UEFA Nations League on Tuesday at Kosovo with kickoff at 1:45 p.m. CT at Fadil Vokrri Stadium in Pristina.

SKC TO VISIT LOCAL SCHOOLS FOR RED CARD KC CAMPAIGN

Three Sporting KC players will make special appearances at local middle schools this week as part of the Red Card KC anti-bullying campaign established by Sporting and Children's Mercy. Cam Duke will visit Leawood Middle School on Monday, Khiry Shelton will speak with students from Harmony Middle School on Tuesday and Jake Davis will participate in an assembly at Pleasant Ridge Middle School on Wednesday.

ARGYLE ACE RAFFLE DRAWING ON TUESDAY

Argyle Ace  presented by Mazuma, a fundraising raffle that features weekly prizes and a progressive cash jackpot, has returned  with half of all proceeds again going directly to The Victory Project. MLS TO REVEAL YEAR-END AWARDS BALLOT ON WEDNESDAY

On Wednesday, Major League Soccer will publish the 2022 Year-End Awards ballot on MLSsoccer.com. Voting will open at 11 a.m. CT on Friday for clubs, players and select media members to cast their ballots by 4 p.m. CT on Oct. 10. AT&T MLS Goal of the Year and MLS Save of the Year presented by Allstate will be administered by MLSsoccer.com via online voting open to fans from Oct. 12-14.

FIFA 23 RELEASE ON FRIDAY AHEAD OF eMLS AMATEUR CUP

On Friday, FIFA 23 will be available worldwide on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Stadia, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Early access for FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition begins on Tuesday. Sporting Kansas City will participate in the eMLS Amateur Cup on Oct. 13 with the overall national winner earning a trip to MLS Cup.

SKC ACADEMY HOSTS DOUBLEHEADER ON SATURDAY

The Sporting KC Academy will continue the 2022-23 MLS NEXT season on Saturday as the Sporting KC U-14's and U-19's will host Solar SC in a doubleheader at Swope Soccer Village. The U-14's will kick off at 10 a.m. CT before the U-19's take the field at 12 p.m. CT and both matches will be free and open to the public. STUDENT ESSAY DEADLINE ON SATURDAY FOR HIGH PERFORMANCE SUMMIT

Sporting Kansas City will host the club's inaugural High Performance Summit from Nov. 11-13 at Compass Minerals National Performance Center and Children's Mercy Park. There are 150 spots available for the summit, including five student sponsorships for undergraduate or graduate students majoring in exercise science, athletic training or a related field who submit a 300-500 word essay by Saturday's deadline.
