Tim Melia joins the Sporting KC Show Podcast to preview Saturday's rematch with San Jose

Running throughout the season on Sports Radio 810 WHB, the Sporting KC Show is available on several podcast hubs such as Spotify and iTunes as well as SportingKC.com. With Jon Kempin and Blake Aerni hosting the weekly program, Sporting fans have a place to catch up on club storylines, guest interviews and more.

A new edition of the Sporting KC Show Podcast is now available as hosts Jon Kempin and Blake Aerni preview the club's showdown with San Jose on Saturday in a rematch of last year's Western Conference Wild Card match. The podcast sets the stage in an exclusive interview with goalkeeper Tim Melia, who made six saves in last weekend's scoreless draw in Los Angeles to become the first goalkeeper to record multiple shutouts in regular season road matches at LAFC.

In addition, Sporting KC Manager Peter Vermes was a special guest on The Program with Soren Petro on Tuesday. In his 16th season on the sideline, Vermes is the longest tenured head coach with one club in MLS history and has the most regular season wins among active coaches.

Sporting Kansas City will host the San Jose Earthquakes, led by MLS All-Star Cristian Espinoza, at 7:30 p.m. CT on Saturday at Children's Mercy Park.

Tickets for the Western Conference clash are available online at SeatGeek, including the Coca-Cola Friends & Family 4-Pack, Wild West 5-Pack and Sporting U Pass. All 14 MLS matches this weekend will stream free on Apple TV with MLS Season Pass and SKCvSJ will air locally on Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Grande 1340 AM.

Pub partners in the Sporting Pub Network will also show all of the action, including a watch party at No Other Pub in the Kansas City Power and Light District. Food and drink specials will start at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, including $4 domestics, $5 wells and 50% off nachos.
