Construction work for a bridge repair project will impact fans traveling on I-70. The I-70/I-435 ramp is currently closed and is expected to remain closed through July. Fans traveling westbound on I-70 heading to Children’s Mercy Park should view the alternate routes listed below and prepare extra time for expected delays.
In addition, starting at 8pm both eastbound and westbound I-70 will be down to one lane near the I-435 bridge with ramp closures at the I-70/I-435 interchange as needed. Please be advised when leaving the match.
Based on which parking lot you plan on utilizing for matchday, please follow the directions for alternative routes:
Blue, White, or Orange Lots:
- Continue west on I-70 past the construction and use Exit 410 (110th & Village West Pkwy)
- Turn right off the exit onto 110th/Speedway Blvd
- Turn right again on Village West Pkwy
- Turn left onto Homestead-Miami Drive to park in Blue, White or Orange Lots
Red or NFM 2 Lots:
- Continue west on I-70 past the construction and use Exit 410 (110th & Village West Pkwy)
- Turn right off the exit onto 110th/Speedway Blvd
- Turn right again on Village West Pkwy
- Continue straight past the State Avenue intersection, then turn right onto France Family Dr to park in Red or NFM 2 Lots
NFM 1 Lot:
- Continue west on I-70 past the construction and use Exit 410 (110th & Village West Pkwy)
- Turn right off the exit onto 110th/Speedway Blvd
- Turn right again on Village West Pkwy
- Continue straight past the State Avenue intersection, then turn right into NFM 1 Lot off Village West Pkwy
