Sporting Kansas City kicks off the team's 2015 season at 6 p.m. CT on Sunday at Sporting Park against the New York Red Bulls live on FOX Sports 1, FOX Deportes, Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Gran D 1340 AM. A limited number of tickets are available via Ticketmaster.com and the first 10,000 fans inside the stadium will receive a 2015 schedule magnet courtesy of Dairy Farmers of America.


The team returned from preseason camp in Tucson, Arizona on Sunday and will train on Tuesday (11am), Wednesday (3pm), Friday (11am) and Saturday (11am) at the Swope Soccer Village (6310 Lewis Rd.) in Kansas City, Missouri. Media are welcome to attend with player/coach availability taking place at the completion of each day's session.


On Wednesday, Sporting Kansas City will host Sporting Evolution at the Uptown Shoppes Event Space (3600 Broadway Avenue) in Kansas City, Missouri to unveil the team's new primary kit. Doors will open at 6 p.m. CT, one hour prior to the show's start at 7 p.m. CT, with Sporting Kansas City players and coaches in attendance.


Tickets are available via Ticketmaster.com, in advance at the Uptown Theater box office or at the doors on the day of the event. Sporting EVOLUTION is open to all ages and the $10 cost of admission comes with a $10 Sporting Style gift card to be used toward Sporting Kansas City and/or Sporting Club merchandise purchased at the party. Parking for the event is free and available on site.


In addition, Sporting KC will host the team's annual Media Day from 5:30-7 p.m. CT on Wednesday in conjunction with Sporting Evolution. Sporting KC players and Manager Peter Vermes will be available to discuss the 2015 season and full season credentials will be on site for pick up. Following the jersey release, select players will again be available to media to comment on the new kit. 


The Sporting KC Show will make its 2015 debut at 8 p.m. CT on Tuesday live on Sports Radio 810 WHB with hosts Nate Bukaty and Andy Gruenebaum. Fans are encouraged to join the discussion by calling 913-3-810-810. In addition, The Final Whistle: Sporting KC Postgame Show will air immediately following Sunday's match on Sports Radio 810 WHB with Gruenebaum joined by Dave Borchardt and Carter Augustine. 


On Thursday, 38 the Spot will televise a 30-minute "Chase for the Cup" special at 7 p.m. CT featuring Jack Harry, Frank Boal, Dee Jackson and Kacie McDonnell. KMCI-TV (38 the Spot), a member of the SKCTV Network, will again serve as the team's local broadcast partner in 2015 and will carry all regular season matches not nationally televised. 


Finally, voting is open through 4 p.m. CT on Thursday in the opening round of KCSourceLink's Battle of the Brands. Sporting KC is one of 64 companies currently in the competition after finishing runners-up in last year's edition of the online battle.
