Sporting Kansas City midfielder Graham Zusi started and played 45 minutes for the U.S. Men's National Team in a 4-0 victory over Guatemala on Friday in an international friendly held at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee.
Zusi earned his 29th career cap -- and first since last October -- as the United States won their fourth straight match, following previous victories over Mexico, Netherlands and Germany. The U.S. Men's National Team will now begin the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup on Tuesday with their Group A finale coming on July 13 at Sporting Park.
Zusi has two goals and four assists in 14 appearances across all competition for Sporting KC this season. The World Cup veteran is in contention for the fourth MLS All-Star honor of his career when the 2015 MLS All-Star Fan XI is revealed during halftime of USA-Panama on July 13 live on FOX Sports 1.
