Sporting Kansas City has partnered with BeerKC to present the Third Annual Westport Beer Festival, a tribute to seasonal craft beers. This event returns to historic Westport from 5 - 9 p.m. CT on Saturday, June 7 on Pennsylvania Avenue in front of McCoy’s Public House and is a benefit for AIDS Walk Kansas City.
The Westport Beer Festival -- sponsored by BeerKC, Sporting KC, Neighborhood Tourist Development Fund and ink Magazine -- will feature more than 80 high quality, full-flavored beers from nearly 35 breweries around the United States and abroad. Guests will sample some of the world’s best brews and fabulous food while having the opportunity to mingle with the principals and brewmasters from each participating brewery. In addition, festivalgoers will have the chance to meet members from this year’s Sporting Kansas City team including Seth Sinovic, Chance Myers and Dom Dwyer.
Tickets are now on sale at beerkc.com and are $30 in advance and $35 at the gate. Each ticket includes a tasting glass and unlimited pours from participating breweries, while supplies last.
