Team of the Week: Dom Dwyer among Week 16's best players

Sporting Kansas City's best player in Saturday's 2-2 draw at the Montreal Impact landed MLSsoccer.com Team of the Week recognition Monday.

Striker Dom Dwyer found his scoring form against his favorite victims with a devastating two-goal performance at Stade Saputo. The Englishman was named among Week 16's best performers as Sporting Kansas City earned a valuable road point north of the border.

Dwyer netted his team-leading seventh and eighth goals of the 2016 campaign, climbing to second on the club's all-time scoring chart with 53 in all competitions and 44 in regular season play. In addition to notching a game-high six shots on Saturday, the Englishman continued his remarkable record against Montreal with his eighth and ninth goals in the series' last five games.

Midfielder Benny Feilhaber, meanwhile earned a spot on the Team of the Week bench. The 31-year-old  orchestrated a Sporting Kansas City attack that looked dangerous throughout Saturday's contest and now has an assist in each of his last three games across all competitions.
