Swope Park Rangers to host USL Cup Final watch party on Sunday

Swope Park Rangers in 2016 USL Cup Final

The Swope Park Rangers made their debut in March with a 2-1 win at Children's Mercy Park. The club's inaugural season has now reached the pinnacle with a spot in the 2016 USL Cup Final and the stadium will once again welcome SPR supporters.

The Boulevard Members Club, located in the northeast corner of Children's Mercy Park, will host a watch party when the championship kicks off at 7 p.m. CT on Sunday live on ESPNU. The event is free to attend and open to fans of all ages.

The watch party will cap off Fan Appreciation Day festivities for local soccer supporters, highlighted by Sporting Kansas City's regular season finale at 3 p.m. CT against the San Jose Earthquakes. The Boulevard Members Club will open to all ticket holders after final whistle and, in addition to the USL Cup Final, will also show NFL, NHL and MLB (if applicable) games.

PARKING: Fans arriving for the SPR watch party are asked to park in Lot D beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. Sporting KC ticket holders may remain parked in their gameday location. All lots will close 30 minutes after the conclusion of the USL Cup Final.

Food and drink will be available to purchase for guests at the watch party. In addition, Swope Park Rangers merchandise will be sold by Sporting Style and the team's Western Conference Championship trophy will be on site for photo opportunities.

The 2016 USL Cup Final will be nationally televised on ESPNU with Michael Watts (play-by-play), Kate Markgraf (color analyst) and Heather Mitts (sideline reporter). The broadcast can also be seen through the WatchESPN app and heard on SiriusXM FC.
